Classic Swamp Monster Spooktacular

Sunday, Oct. 31st, 2021 | 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Teal Pumpkin Time: Between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM, children with special or sensory needs and their families are invited to experience Swamp Monster Spooktacular without the sensory overload and candy alternatives.

Monsters from your favorite classic horror films lurk in the shadows waiting for your visit to the Okefenokee Swamp Park for one night only at our first annual Swamp Monsters Spooktacular. This family-friendly, walkthrough experience takes you on a journey through Mummy’s Marsh, Werewolf’s Den, the Spider’s Nest, the Witching Well filled with candy and photo zones throughout the entire park. You can expect to shout in horror, or for joy, over some of your favorite monsters like Dracula and Frankenstein and their brides, Invisible Man, King Kong, the star Creature of The Black Lagoon, and so many more. Don’t fill up on candy from all the candy zones and trunk-or-treating spots, because there will also be food trucks by the Monster Mash Dance Floor. One winner will receive a special grand prize for Best Costume – so be sure to wear your best Halloween costume yet.

For the first time ever visitors to the Okefenokee Swamp Park will have the opportunity to listen to the untold spooky tales of the Okefenokee Swamp through our guided haunted boat or train tours… if you dare! The haunted boat and train tour is a VIP ticket experience only, you must purchase your seat as spacing is limited and WILL SELL OUT. If you purchase a VIP ticket you do not have to purchase a general admission ticket in addition. VIPs should arrive early in the evening to ensure they make it through the experiences to get to the tours, as the last boat ride will go out at 9:15 PM.

***FAMILY-FRIENDLY EVENT Children of all ages are welcome, some monster experiences may be better suited for 3 and older***

Only one experience can be purchased per event. Due to capacity restrictions, either the boat experience OR the train experience can be selected. Each entry is one walk-through experience.
